Overview
To build a healthier future together the NHIS UHC Global Academy has been organized annually since 2004, targeting low- and middle-income countries to strengthen human resources in the field of health policy and to share the achievements of Korea’s National Health Insurance.
Over the past 21 years, the program has hosted 882 participants from 61 countries,
establishing itself as a leading platform for global cooperation in healthcare.
The 22nd NHIS UHC Global Academy will be held with the aim of disseminating best practices in Universal Health Coverage (UHC) and building a foundation for linking development cooperation projects, bringing together around 40 government officials from partner countries in the fields of planning, finance, and health.
The program will take place on November 3(Mon) - 7(Fri), 2025(5 days) at Oak Valley Resort, Wonju, Gangwon State, Republic of Korea.

The NHIS Global Forum 2025 will bring together global and domestic experts in healthcare, welfare, and medical innovation, as well as international organizations, to explore the future of sustainable healthcare and discuss innovation in policy and services through big data and AI.
This year’s forum will focus on the use of healthcare big data and the protection of the right to health.
It aims to present a future vision for Korea’s National Health Insurance and global healthcare innovation.
The forum will take place from June 11 (Wed) to June 12 (Thu), 2025,at the Grand Ballroom, 2nd Floor, Ambassador Seoul Pullman Hotel, and will be livestreamed online.
